Food additives
Food additives are substances used for the preparation of food in the agro-food industry. Carini Chem Srl, since its inception, treats this type of products, which are deliberately added to foods to perform certain technological functions. Food additives are evaluated both at European and international level before being authorized for food use. Just as they are continuously monitored and subjected to subsequent evaluations, precisely to ensure their absolute food safety. Additives authorized at European level are marked with the letter "E" and with a progressive number. An authorized additive is a substance whose safety of use has been assessed, whose chemical purity requirements have been established and whose use is allowed only in the case of documented technological need: even if it is considered not harmful, the additive is not allowed if it's not necessary. The warehouse of Fiorenzuola d'Arda has been recognized as suitable, by AUSL of Piacenza, for carrying out wholesale trade and storage of food additives with the number IT AAE 080 34.
The animal welfare
The livestock market was significantly regulated in 2005, with the entry into force of EC regulation n. 183/2005. And subsequently by many other European laws that governed this very important market, which in the years preceding 2005 did not have such stringent rules. This obtained, first of all, a reorganization of the livestock sector and also of all the operators present at that time.
